Video games were a controversial topic back in the 1970s when this ‘new technology’ was emerging; it boomed greatly at the beginning, but backlash and judgment quickly followed suit. People thought that video games were a waste of time, bad for the health, and most of all damaging to the brain. The variety of video game products was never ending with the new types emerging and updating every year. These are known now to be the PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and simply mobile phones. There are many more types of video game machines, but more importantly is the reason why they actually became famous: Games. Yes, games and their different levels and challenges made the people grow addicted to them wanting to always perform better and break world records especially when playing online.
